my place and yours :: through the front door ::

This week over at Pip's I'm joining in again for :: my place and yours ::
This week's Theme Queen is
Shelley, and she chose the theme :: through the front door ::

Our higgledy piggledy home's current front entrance opens into a covered area, aka the conservatory.
Hah! sounds rather posh, but I can assure you it isn't.
Still it's lovely to have especially in the cooler climes of Tasmania.  It's a big area connecting the main house to Mark's office, my studio, and another door out to the side kitchen garden.  It gets used a lot throughout all the seasons (humans and cats included) and can also be a bit of a dumping ground unfortunately.  The hanging baskets, potted plants, windows and tinted clear sheeting roof definitely give it the outdoors feel.
Coming home is always a welcoming feeling.

Thanks so much for visiting. xo
